A Conference for Students, Faculty, and Staff
Date: Thursday, March 12, 2026
Location: Great Hall, ISU Memorial Union

Call for faculty involvement

Faculty presenters will be given 20-30 minutes to present during 40-minute sessions. Presentations should concern some ethical dimension (broadly construed, to concern ways that individuals or communities are benefited or harmed) of use of technology or AI technology in particular. Faculty from any college are encouraged to reach out to discuss this possibility! For example, someone in Business might talk about how the current unregulated cryptocurrency exchanges further exacerbate income inequality in the U.S. Or someone in CALS might talk about ways that artificial intelligence tools better connect farmers and seed providers to better handle the vagaries of climate, nutrients in soil, and availability of water. Etc.

Call for student involvement (undergraduate or graduate)

Are there amazing and interesting accomplishments that students are eager to share that are adjacent to the topic of Technology Ethics or Ethics of Artificial Intelligence?

Publicize your AI-related club or co-curricular activity

There is opportunity to advertise activities of related student clubs or co-curricular activities.
